15.5 oz box of Oreos
8 oz. package of cream cheese
White candy melts
Cake pop sticks
Black food gel
Crush Oreos in a food processor or in a sandwich bag using a heavy object. Add in cream cheese and mix with hands to combine and form a paste with the Oreo crumbs. Roll paste into small cake pop sized balls and chill for 30 minutes to harden.
Melt a small amount of candy melts in the microwave according to the instructions on the bag. Dip cake pop sticks into melted chocolate and poke through the middle of the truffle ball. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to harden. Meanwhile roll out fondant and cut a large circle with a large circle cutter or other large round object.
Melt the remaining white candy melts or chocolate.
Remove truffles from the refrigerator and coat in white candy melts. Let them harden. Use a small amount of melted candy melts or chocolate to adhere fondant circle to “cake” pop.
Take a food-safe paint brush and some black food gel (thinned with a little vodka or water) and paint on ghostly faces. Allow to dry, and voila!! Done 🙂
